Children's Camp!
Doug Lee, Associational Missionary

First, I want to thank all the churches that send their children to Children's Camp this year. I want to say thank you to all the Adults, and Camp Missionsaries/Jr. Counselor's that made this camp a sucess. I want to thank the churches of Oregon Trail Baptist Associaiton for providing this camp experience for Children. The camp this year was a younger group of kids but God still worked in their lives. We saw 4 professions of faith, 2 girls ask how one knows if God is calling them to missions, and we had children that asked to be prayed with for a varity of needs. The temps were high so the waterslide was a popular place everyday. By the way we had 55 campers this year, one of our larger camps. Another added blessing was seeing some of our former campers coming back as Camp Missionaries.

I am hoping that our churches will put the Children's Camp down on their calendars as a high pirority for 2010. We would like to have more children, camp missionaries, and  adult sponsors. I would like to see us fill up the camp, it can hold 100 campers, and we have the protintial for it to happen.

Praises!
